Ottawa – Mayor Jim Watson will host federal, provincial and local dignitaries to mark a significant milestone in the construction of the Confederation Line Light Rail Transit (LRT) tunnel.

Time: Transportation to the site will depart City Hall at 11:30 a.m.
Event will begin at 12:00 p.m.

Media will only be able to access the site via an OC Transpo shuttle which will depart the Lisgar Street Entrance of City Hall at 11:45 a.m. There is no parking available at the event location. All guests will be required to sign in before boarding the bus between 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.
Hard Hats, high visibility safety vests, safety glasses and green tag steel toed boots are the responsibility of each individual and are mandatory for site access.
