On Friday, May 26, 2017, the cities of Ottawa and Gatineau will sign an agreement in preparation of the launch of the O-Train Confederation Line in 2018. This working agreement will outline the future services of the Société de transport de l’Outaouais (STO) in downtown Ottawa and how they will integrate with the O-Train Confederation Line.
Ottawa Mayor Jim Watson, Gatineau Mayor Maxime Pedneaud-Jobin, STO President Gilles Carpentier, and Ottawa Transit Commission Chair Stephen Blais will be in attendance.
The news conference will be preceded by a technical briefing for the media.
