Ottawa –Mayor Jim Watson will present the Order of Ottawa for 2016 to 15 honoured recipients as well as the Brian Kilrea Award for Excellence in Coaching, at an induction ceremony on Thursday evening at Ottawa City Hall. Mr. Bill Malhotra, a recipient of the Order of Ottawa for 2015, was unable to attend last year’s ceremony and will therefore be honoured at the 2016 ceremony.

Following the presentation of awards at 9:15 p.m., a Media Relations staff member will be available to facilitate interviews.
One of the 15 recipients selected to receive the award, Grandmaster Tae Eun Lee, is unavailable to attend the ceremony and will be honoured at the ceremony in 2017.
