Ottawa– Starting Monday, July 25, Main Street will be closed to vehicular traffic and transit between Hawthorne Avenue and Lees Avenue. This closure is required to accommodate the building of concrete crosswalks and will last until Friday, August 5.
A signed detour will be in place throughout the construction period. Motorists are advised to follow all signage directed at them. The recommended detour is via Greenfield Avenue and Lees Avenue. Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained throughout the construction period.
