Ottawa - Beginning Monday, June 8, motorists will not be able to access Albert Street from Lorne Avenue between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. daily. The closure along this section of Lorne Avenue will continue until Friday, June 12.

Lorne Avenue will operate as a two-way street during the daytime closures. City workers will be on site to help direct traffic.

Through traffic along Albert Street will not be affected.

This closure is necessary for workers to install new sewer and watermain infrastructure at the intersection as part of the Albert Street Construction Project. This work is also part of the Confederation Line construction project.
